Beach Plum Photos

	Beach Plum in Bloom I found this Wild Beach Plum bush blooming on a spit of land extending into lower end of Sulpher Spring Water visible is entrance to Sulpher Spring. This is upper end of Buck's Creek Ridgevale Beach (not visible) is to the right, about 300 yards across tidal flats and Buck's Creek Many shore birds lurking in these lowlands
Actual Fruit ! ! (photo taken couple weeks after photo above) Developing Fruit can be seen in photo center Pretty well camouflaged, but I doubt the birds are fooled Fruit ripens into a reddish,  prune size delicacy.  Many plums grow on a single bush.  Harvesting is done by hand
