Early morning view of Coast Guard beach and Chatham South Beach.

Later on this beautiful summer morning these gorgeous sandy beaches will be covered with scores of swimmers, sun bathers and people watchers.

This area is directly below the viewing plaza.  Often the Chatham fishing fleet can be seen heading toward, or home from, fishing grounds. Many pleasure craft can also be seen

When I took this shot, one lucky beach comber had the entire beach

A  short while later this dude showed up with his "Treasure Finder" hoping to find dropped coins, rings or possibly a stray neck lace. These folks are true Beach Combers

There are only a few Treasure Hunters to be seen in the early morning before the crowds arrive, or in the late evening, after almost everyone has abandoned the beach (hopefully having lost something ! !)
