Weird creatures seen along the seashore

	Mating Season for Horseshoe Crabs Named because of their horse hoof shape, Horseshoe Crabs have changed very little for 250,000,000 years ! ! With a scientific name of Limulus polyphemus, the Horseshoe crab is a distant relative of the spider. They eat a diet of clams, sea worms and other small invertebrate,  but can go without food for a year! Life Span is about 10 - 20 years.
